ANTaR is Always looking for Volunteers

Volunteer opportunities

Some of the areas we're currently looking for volunteers to help out with are staffing ANtaR stalls, office administration, marketing, and researching for grant applications.

Phone Jacinda on 9419 3613 for more information.

We need you!

Most of the work carried out by ANTaR Victoria is in a volunteer capacity. Considering the significant gains we have made as an organisation, this is a remarkable achievement and something to be commended and celebrated!

We are aiming to raise our profile even more and have a wider reach and influence within Victoria. As our resources are very limited, this kind of shift can only take place through the ongoing and dedicated work of volunteers.

The work of volunteers is fundamental to the realisation of our goals. If ANTaR Victoria is to grow as an organisation, and harness the support for reconciliation and creative energy that we know is out there, we must develop a stronger organisational base.

"Our lives begin to end the day we remain silent about things that matter.”-

Martin Luther King Jr.

Volunteering – What’s in it for you?

You will get a lot out of volunteering with us. Your contribution to the community will be given back to you time and time again through your connection with others and the empowerment that comes through making a difference. As well as offering your unique set of skills, you may want to gain new knowledge and experience by taking on a role that you are not familiar with.

Insight into the not-for-profit sector is invaluable in your career and other areas of your life. Volunteering is highly regarded among some of the top organisations, corporations and government agencies.

Above all, volunteering is fun and a great way to meet other people committed to social justice. It is a chance to inspire and be inspired in working towards a better future for us all.

We will provide as much guidance and assistance as you need. We realise your time is important to you and while we do expect a minimum commitment, you can have as much flexibility as you need to balance volunteering with your other commitments.
