Every now and
again, as a blackfella in Australia, I get really frustrated
over race relations in this country with its attendant attitudes.
But then I only have to think of the kind of whitefellas I
meet who work in ANTaR. I hate to say it: “but they
are a credit to their race”.
It takes courage to do what they do.
To go to the depths of racism and interrogate ourselves rather
than study others. ANTaR personnel I have met, have displayed
great strength, integrity and courage because they have embarked
on that journey of “Physician, Heal Thyself".
